The Corruption
A dangerous purple contamination that threatens everything. When research goes wrong, the corruption spreads like wildfire, making survival exponentially harder.
What is Corruption?
The corruption is an extremely dangerous purple contamination that infects the world around the player, making the game world much harder to live in and manage. It occurs when research goes wrong or when players don't correctly handle terraformation processes.
If not dealt with effectively, the corruption can spread rapidly, corrupting biomes, resources, and even the player's equipment and structures.
The Threat Level
Corruption transforms the already hostile alien world into an even more treacherous environment. Infected areas become unstable, resources become scarce, and new dangerous entities emerge from the corrupted zones.
Purification Systems
Terraformation Notes
Terraformation can only be performed during the nanotech stage of development. This advanced technology allows players to reshape and purify large areas of the planet.
However, players can still plant and farm normally in non-corrupted areas at any technology level, providing essential resources for survival.
